Is the Red Light Therapy Blanket right for you?

You may have seen a series of influencers post about red light therapy in recent years. The LED face masks have been trending as the new go-to device for ultimate glow and anti-age benefits. But what about the rest of your body?

Red light panels allow you to see and feel several great benefits, but you'll often find more effort is involved. You may need to consider memberships and travel time. For many of us, our biggest obstacle is just making time in our days.

What if we told you that you can achieve the same results from the comfort of your own home?

The Red Light Therapy Blanket

You can use a RLT Blanket in your own home while you're reading a book or watching TV. The blanket allows you to achieve your results in private, and it will only take you 20 minutes. This is the hassle-free option that will ensure you can stick to your daily sessions.

Additionally, this red light device is portable, so you can easily take it with you when travelling. Simply roll it up and pack in your car or luggage.

The Red Light Therapy Blanket is the easiest and most convenient option for neck-to-toe results. However, it won't cover your face. You can add in the Red Light Face Mask to use at the same time.

What's the difference between a RLT Blanket and a RLT Panel?

If you're looking for at-home red light therapy devices, you may consider using Red Light Therapy Panels. These come in various sizes to suit different treatment areas. For full-body coverage, you'll require the largest option, which is also the most expensive one.

You can use the panels anywhere, even in your own bedroom. However, you'll need to stand for full-body coverage. This will require two sessions for front and back. It would take twice as long, unless you instead opt for two devices.

Standing in one spot for 20-40 minutes can be rather taxing, especially when compared to a 20-minute nap in a Red Light Therapy Blanket. You'll also need to wear protective goggles

Is it the same as an infrared sauna?

Red- and infrared light are similar, but used for different reasons. The RLT Blanket has both options, so you can use whichever one you prefer, or a mix of both at the same time.

According to several sources, infrared light penetrates the skin about 5 cm or even more. This will improve your muscle recovery and soothe your joints. Infrared light therapy is a great option for people who work out a lot or are recovering from injuries.

Red light on the other hand, which doesn't penetrate the skin as deeply, works mainly on a surface level. The wavelength used promotes firmer skin and boosts your complexion, which reduces blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles.

An infrared sauna doesn't necessarily have infrared light, they operate with infrared heat. The benefits you'll see from this are the same as what you'd experience from a regular sauna, unless there is also light emitted.

If you're considering using an infrared sauna, you'll likely need to locate a facility where one is available. Consider gym and travel expenses for this. Keep in mind that you'll need to expose yourself to infrared light every day to see your preferred results. You may also need to share it with strangers.

If you're set on a sauna, or the benefits from it, you may also consider an Infrared Sauna Blanket

These devices are all for larger areas of your body. Depending on your personal goals, you may want to look at other options.

For targeted spot or face treatment, you'll want to look into more affordable options for smaller areas. We recommend the Red Light Face Mask, Bullet Red Light Therapy Device, or the Demi Red Light Therapy Device.
